Simply Homemade Salsa

Homemade Salsa
Hello everyone!  I have a really easy recipe for you today.  The growing season is coming to an end and we are harvesting the last of our crops.  If you are like us, you probably have a ton of tomatoes and peppers. I have used them for salads, sandwiches and canning.  Now, we are using them for homemade salsa!

4 C - Chopped Tomatoes
1/2 C - Chopped White Onion
1/2 C - Chopped Green Bell Pepper
1/2 C - Chopped Sweet Banana Pepper
1/3 C - Chopped Cilantro
2 TB - Lime Juice
1 TB - Ground Cumin
2 Tsp - Sugar
2 Tsp - Garlic Powder
2 Tsp - Cayenne Pepper

You will just need to combine all the ingredients into a mixing bowl and mix thoroughly.  That's it!  How simple, right?  Enjoy!

Have a great weekend and check back with us on Sunday, when we will let you know what events/festivals are happening around Tennessee for the next weekend. If you missed this weekend's list, you can find the post on our blog from this past Sunday, September 7, 2014!
