Simply Pizza - Rosemary and Garlic Crust

Chicken Pizza with a Rosemary and Garlic Crust,

I love the crust with this pizza.  It is the closest thing I have tasted which reminds me of a small town restaurant in upper New York.

Here is what you will need:

Crust

2 cups flour
1 packet of pizza yeast
1 1/2 tsp sugar
3/4 tsp salt
2/3 cup warm water
3 tbs vegetable oil
1 tsp finely chopped rosemary
1 tsp Finley chopped garlic

Toppings

1 boneless chicken breast ( cooked soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce and lemon pepper )
1/2 medium red onion chopped
3/4 Cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 tomato sauce


  • Combine all the crust ingredients and mix well, once mixed knead on a floured surface for 3-4 minutes.
  • Roll out on a pizza stone and add the toppings, then place on a greased pan in a preheated 425 degree oven for 12-15 minutes. If using a pizza stone, cook for an additional 4-8 min.

  1. I made a white pizza for dinner last night and it was divine! We made up a standard pizza crust (4 c flour, 1/2 canola oil, 2 Tbs rapid rise yeast, 1/4 tsp salt and 3 1/2 cups water), rolled it out into a rectangle, sprinkled liberally with Parmesan Garlic seasoning, covered with Alfredo sauce and shredded cheese. Topped with onions. Baked on the bar pan for 20 minutes to golden crispy perfection! Yum!
